C I believe in one God,

     the Father Almighty,

     maker of heaven and earth

Tomorrow is observed in our country as Memorial Day, that day when we remember those members of our armed forces who exercised that greatest measure of love, to lay down their lives for others. In remembrance of their sacrifice, we begin our prayers with the following hymnic prayer.
